After a great day of hiking around Arches we bought some more firewood and headed back for our last night of camping. Hot dogs in the fire and more smores. Yummmm....

I started this blog in 2009, when my wife, Jackie and my oldest son, Andrew went to Kenya for 5 weeks. I wrote about my life in Big Sky while they were away. I wrote about my trip to Israel with my middle son, Micah in 2010. I wrote intermittently as time passed and then I just stopped. Friends of mine often said, Mark is someone who has to write, but life, work, family, took over. Now I am compelled to write again. My life turned upside down in September 2016 when I was diagnosed with ALS.
